GDPR & Data Rights
Your rights under EU data protection law and how to exercise them on Applyd.ie.
Applyd is built GDPR-first. We minimise data collection, encrypt sensitive fields, and give you clear controls over export and deletion.
Your rights
- Access a copy of your data via account export in Settings
- Request correction of inaccurate profile information
- Delete your account and all associated personal data
- Withdraw inbox connection consent at any time in Settings
- Request deletion of uploaded CVs at any time
- Object to processing where applicable
Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. Raw email content is not stored — only structured metadata extracted during inbox sync. Uploaded CVs are deleted from storage when you remove them or delete your account.
Automated processing
Applyd uses AI to generate job application documents and analyse fit between your profile and job listings. You are always shown the output before it is used.
Data transfers
All data is stored on EU-hosted infrastructure (Hetzner). No personal data is transferred outside the EU except where necessary to complete OAuth flows with Google or Microsoft (for inbox monitoring), which are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Contact
For data protection queries contact privacy@applyd.ie or use the contact form at applyd.ie/contact.
