Setting our people up for success is a priority, and we are currently recruiting Cyber Software Engineering Analysts whose skills and interests align with the below description: Cyber Software Engineering Analyst • This Analyst applies software engineering expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure solutions that address complex business challenges. Collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality applications, integrating emerging technologies such as cloud to drive innovation. Demonstrates curiosity and creativity while continuously improving development practices, ensuring reliability, performance, and user-centric design. Contributes to code reviews, automation, and best practices, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ongoing learning through a Cyber Risk lens. A successful candidate would possess these skills: • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships • Ability to lead projects or workstreams • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor • Ability to meet deadlines • Ability to provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services practice serves government agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other public sector organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation efforts to help clients improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. Professionals in the practice have opportunities to build specialized experience while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Qualifications Required: • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027 or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering/Science, Software Engineering, Majors with heavy computer languages, or an equivalent program • Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required) • You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g. 100-mile radius) of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment Preferred: • 3.4 cumulative GPA preferred • Internship, project, or coursework experience in computer engineering or science, or software engineering This is an entry-level opportunity intended for candidates interested in beginning or building a career in this field. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $103,000.
